I recently built the RoboGator robot using my Lego Mindstorms NXT2.0 kit. The RoboGator is one of the four robots shown on the Mindstorms NXT 2.0 box. This is the third NXT robot I’ve built as I had previously built the ShooterBot and AlphaRex. The RoboGator is not very complex to build and doesn’t use many pieces when compared to the AlphaRex. I downloaded pre-built programs to make it “chomp” its mouth as well as move forward and backwards. If you want to build this RoboGator robot, you’ll need a Lego Mindstorms NXT.2.0 kit and building instructions which can be found here. If you have an EV3, check the part list found on the build instructions with your EV3 parts to see if you have all the necessary components to build the RoboGator with the EV3.
