MOSI Event July 28, 2016 – Posted in: Technology – Tags:

Last Saturday, I attended the Hillsborough County Alliance for Citizens with Disabilities ADA – The Next 25 Years Expo held at the Tampa Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI). At the event I displayed my invention, the EyeT (you can read more about the EyeT here). The ADA event was a really great experience for me because I was able to meet a lot of new people and receive feedback on my invention. The most exciting thing about the expo was that quite a few people were interested in my invention because they were visually impaired themselves or new someone who was. Additionally, I also won the Outstanding Youth Advocacy Award which was pretty awesome! Many thanks to my Science teacher, Mrs. Gembarowski, who nominated me for the award. I was also invited to a few more events which will give me more opportunities to share the EyeT with other people and to get used to presenting to large crowds. I had a great time at the expo and I hope to be invited to more in the future!
